This is a practical series of three meditation classes that focus on how we can develop a sense of ease, comfort, happiness and creative relaxation in our life through meditation. Each class explains a specific powerful and easy to apply awareness technique that we can use to combat the negativity and stress that we feel so often in our mind and open the door to new levels of inner fulfillment and wellbeing.
Class 1: How to Create a Mind of Ease and Lucid Relaxation
Despite all of our efforts to overcome the threats to our wellbeing by manipulating our outer environment it still seems that most of us find ourselves regularly overcome by feelings of stress, anxiety and fear. This class specifically focuses on identifying the core causes of this stress and fear and offers a specific meditation form to drop the stress and create a mind of genuine, deep ease!
Class 2: Attuning to the Three Levels of Gratefulness – Learning to feel happy and appreciative of your life however you are, wherever you are, right now
Intellectually we may realize that we are very fortunate in life, and have much to feel grateful for, but how many of us are able to translate that intellectual understanding into a real, deeply felt appreciation and enthusiasm for our life on a day to day, moment to moment level? This class explains a three stage meditation that specifically helps us to overcome our instinctive mental obstacles to feeling gratitude, and enables us to generate genuine warmth and appreciation for our life, what we have and who we share it with.
Class 3: Compassionate Intention – Making your mind bigger, better and more powerful by meditating on the five levels of positive intention
The intention that we are holding in our mind at any given time has a powerful effect upon the experience that we have. In this class we will be meditating five levels of healthy, positive intention which we can use to keep our mind strong, healthy and directed even when under pressure.
